Shackles of Life
Wake her not for its vain
She is now the daughter of the sky,
The mistress of the stars,
A part of this vast emptiness.
Muted by slumber she has drifted away,
Into a placid dream,
Deprived of happiness, she always had been--
Now the misery was nowhere to be seen
For she lays in the arms of bliss,
Since the day she received the immortal's kiss.
Behold the crown of demise!
For death had embraced her,
Veiled her 'gainst all fatality
She has been released from all malady,
From the shackles of life,itself.
Although my heart is crumbling ,
To bid my permanent departure
I am glad my love,
For I have set you free
From shackles of life itself.
