Waiting

There is a part of me
That is missing,
Whenever you are
Not near me.
 
It always comes back
To me though,
Always returning
When you do.
 
I long for the day
When it won't be gone,
And that it will never
Leave me again.
 
Wrapped up so very
Deeply in you,
Your arms around me
Never straying.
 
The near endless waiting
Almost kills me,
But I know that soon
I shall have you.
 
It is what keeps
Me going forward,
The satisfaction of
The near future.
 
We shall have all of
Each other in time,
And that time will
Be here someday.
 
It is hard to wait
To get what you want,
Especially when you
Need it so badly.
 
Waiting is not always
Such a bad thing,
Especially when you know
You will be rewarded in time.
