fake a smile,
hold it back,
its only for awhile.
grab your hair,
fight the tears,
keep it up,
you've been doing it for years.
then hear that voice,
it all fades away,
fold in to his chest,
like you don't have a choice.
he is your person,
he is your safe,
he is the shining light,
smiling in your face.
