Still Country

well i might have moved out to the city
yeah left that small town behind
out here its a little hard to find
a dirt road
a honey hole
some times i feel like i dont have control
but

i'm still country
still wear my muddy scuffed up boots
hey i'll always know my roots
i still wear this cowboy hat
faded black
i still got on my wrangler jeans
and a steal guitar still makes me want to sing
give me some Hank, Haggard and Willie
over that rap crap
say what you want about me
but i'm still country

people out here say i talk with a twang
cuz of the way
i say hey ya'll
i like my beer and whiskey
like to have a ball
its pretty different here under these lights
but i still love a stary night
oh

i'm still country
still wear my muddy scuffed up boots
hey i'll always know my roots
i still wear this cowboy hat
faded black
i still got on my wrangler jeans
and a steal guitar still makes me want to sing
give me some Hank, Haggard and Willie
over that rap crap
say what you want about me
but i'm still country

it dont matter where i wind up
cuz its in my blood
country until the day i die
ya'll know that aint no lie

i'm still country
still wear my muddy scuffed up boots
hey i'll always know my roots
i still wear this cowboy hat
faded black
i still got on my wrangler jeans
and a steal guitar still makes me want to sing
give me some Hank, Haggard and Willie
over that rap crap
say what you want about me
but i'm still country
