Image for the poem Identity

Identity

Nameless, faceless
In search of a new identity.

Wandering here and there,
Fixed roles, fixed jobs.

Boundaries, confinements
I wish to cross this very moment.

Wind cannot sway me from my path,
Fire cannot burn my desires.

Strong as wind, I can create storms
When you feel, I am just a child.

Hot as fire, I can burn you to torture
When you feel, I am a nobody.

The name I would create for myself
Rather than accepting your labels.

The face I will recreate myself
Then you would see what you never saw.
