Men: A User's Guide Chapter Eight / Questions F
What is the point of even trying?
Women sometimes will tell me that they are totally 100% done. Men have worn them out, and not in good way. If there is a proof that you can't just turn gay, it is that females have not totally abandoned men. I know women who just love the total macho Rambo muscle rubbing hair chested guy who have seen their reflection in every shiny surface today. They are cute, and the whole idea that the bad bod starts her out and ruins her but she still goes for the stable, snarfy guy in the end is like way simplistic. Bad boys wear women out with all their games and mindfucking. Really, there is only so much a rational human being can take, and then she just pulls up stakes and moves on. He thinks he is so cute and he is so in love with his own dick he can't imagine that she is just not going to spend her life devoted to it too, so he does not have to pay attention to what he does or how much he hurts her. Wrong.
Again, this is all part of this mysterious male ego thing that is about reporting back to the father ship, the Wolf Pack. At first it is about landing these exotic woman and then once conquered, it is about subjugating them. If they are subjugated, they get no respect. If they are not subjugated, men feel that they are disrespected and that their balls have been cut off. What is all of this?
It is about standing. Let's talk about Wolf Pack standing and how it comes up in daily life. From the sidelines, I am getting lots of encouragement here from men who say what I am saying is right on, but it does not affect them personally. They are in a zone, they are beyond the pale, they are high energy, they are unique, they are off the chart, they are off the chain. Yeah. Right. Fish in water do not know they are underwater.
Stand-up comedians have made whole careers off of this. I ain't like nobody. He says this wearing a full matching outfit from some box store, standing in a street, or driving a car, or in a café, where everything he knows is totally culturally derived. He may never have written a line, danced a step, or in any way sung a note that was in the least original, but for him the battle is personal and that he is a cog in a wheel is news to him.
And he is Shakespearean and Faust, and Willy Lowman, and Mark Twain and Everyman, and this is the constant revision of history that each man passes through. What is the meaning of life? Why is there something rather than nothing? Who am I? Where am I going? How will I get there? How long will I live? While there be life after death? Why is this happening to me? Why do I keep making the same mistakes? Am I awake or dreaming? Am I loveable? Is there meaning in the world? Why do we fight for peace and never achieve it? What would happen if this time just did not fight it and I became a slave? Why wouldn't she do as I say without questioning every word I speak? Why won't he listen instead of just "damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead?"
Men and women both want to be heard. And yet both of them want to talk at the same time. How do we resolve this problem? It is for sure that men have had the floor the majority of the time for the last at least 10,000 years, and we are still killing each other like flies. The point is to get men to share their power with women. In an incredible irony, men have created the means for just that. Technology is the genie that has been let out of the bottle. It is non-gender specific and does not ask anything about you other than your biometrics, that is your identity. You must be a somebody.
We have come to a fork in the road, my friends. Identity, the determination of who you are, has to be neutral on all accounts with technology to be open and free. What we have not done, and what is yet to be determined, is to figure out how we will input the terms "male or female" into the computer in order to encode the biometrics for identification. We do not have a legal determination of who is male and who is female. This has been the arena of doctors who did this by observation, but now we are beginning to find out that in fact one person can hide two identities, that one body can house twins who are visibly present and share a body, and that genders themselves are a sliding scale that allows for every continuum of intersexuality imaginable, including men who are born women and who are gay, and women who are born male and are lesbian. The strata of gender presentation is so diverse that it is now time when we need to define human genders in terms of genetics, and this is going to completely throw the entire judicial system into a total panic. Yes, this is about gay marriage, but more than that it is about the right of anyone to be married without having identified themselves as fully male or fully female.
As of this moment, the truth is that not one person reading this as of September 18, 2013 knows for a fact that he or she is male or female, merely that in an uncontested way it has been observed that you are one or the other, but that no stringent test exists. Men do not know who they are on the deepest level as far as their gender is concerned. And 30% of the population is unable to conceive children. What does that say for the general population? What will men do if they find out that they are in fact genetically female by whatever definition the experts deem acceptable?
The question may not be about men in general but with your definition of what you want. It may be a man, but maybe not. Maybe you want a ½ foam double shot espresso. Maybe what you need to do is load up the computer with the biometrics you desire and then push the button and see the 50 people on the planet that meet that profile. Once this is all on-line at one time in live data, we will have a floating reference to who we are and what we really think and how we really live our lives and then we will not be doing the dance of the seven husbands. Basically, then we will know the parameters and men will fall in line. It's been one huge guess all this time.
Let's get to the main questions in a minute, but first a few fielded questions.
