Summer Love
Warm rays of a summer love
Morph with passion’s ebb and flow
Petals of soft admiration
Stem from the bond of young hearts
Dances in a flowered field
Followed by nighttime walks in rain
Hand in hand
Skin to skin
Lying under a moon of silver
On a soft bed of green
They exist as though alone in this world
Eyes glisten with deep emotion
They know what they have will last
And yet…
…It is but a summer love
