A soul..sometimes

We have a soul at times
"advanced" in thoughts
metaphorically
symbolized
gestures
of civility
wrapped in a shroud of
finely weathered
intentions and consequences
with
the sisterhood of fates hindsite
lurking to cast hurricane
like responses and emotions
blurring the picture
of perceived safety
in a world of broken locks
and stolen faith
And yet through it all--
we still have a soul at times
