Serenity
In This Place
In the quiet,
cocooned by the night.
I am hypnotize,
by the stars in my sight.
Fireflies,
dance around me,
littered across the grass.
They dance to the rhythm,
of the night's critter orchestra
in full blast.
What is this feeling
of freedom?
Why am I so calm?
This feels so relaxing,
it's unbelievable,
I can't understand.
Come with me, and listen
to the symphony of little animals
mating in the dark,
I enjoy this sense of ease,
embraced by the light of the moon,
which fills my heart.
What is this feeling
of freedom?
What is this strange tranquility?
I just lay here resting,
and submerge myself in this new found,
serenity. [/font]

Oh, how I miss the fireflies as I used to catch them to light my room...being with nature and finding solace in its surrounding is serenity indeed.
