Marikana Massacre
In memory of the miners who lost their lives during the Marikana Massacre. R.I.P
I hear the cries
I hear the lies
tears fall to the ground
as they fall to the ground
motionless,
lifeless
brothers,
fathers
and lovers
dead and gone
job "well" done
to the "mafia" who ordered the hit
job "well" done
to the "gangsters" who carried out the hit
could've been a job well done
had the mines paid
but the miners paid
Beware South Africa
apartheid is back
dressed in black
and it's more dangerous
'cause it's more "generous"
I hear the cries
I hear the lies
tears fall to the ground
as they fall to the ground
motionless,
lifeless
brothers,
fathers
and lovers
dead and gone
job "well" done
to the "mafia" who ordered the hit
job "well" done
to the "gangsters" who carried out the hit
could've been a job well done
had the mines paid
but the miners paid
Beware South Africa
apartheid is back
dressed in black
and it's more dangerous
'cause it's more "generous"
