Haiku XXIV

very beautiful image...I
have always wondered
at the tenacity of plants,
particularly those small
green shoots that you
see sprouting out of
dry stone walls...

Thanks a lot, dartford! I'm always affected, too, by those brave and frugal plants which grow and live under such challenging circumstances. They absolutely deserve a haiku of their own!

You wrote 'sprouting out of'. Is 'from' correct, too?

'from' is better and more

If only I had known that haikus would become my "obsession" I'd have named myself differently on DUP. For sure! I adore that female haiku mistress and wouldn't have dared to steal her name!

Oh, that's wonderful. A great photo capturing the little flowers. No doubt the wind will pick up the 'precious' seeds & transport them elsewhere! :-)

I only wonder how they're able to cling to pure rock. But they do! Amazing! Nature is amazing.
