Angel

A beautiful little baby girl
was born one new years night
but to join her loving family
this precious baby had to fight

Mom and dad were very scared
her color gave them such a fright
it was a happy new year tho
because their baby would be alright

They looked into her little face
thanked God with all their might
Then named their daughter Angel
oh her beauty was such a sight

Angel is meant for something special
her future looks so very bright
and when you meet their child
you are taken by her inner light

She is now a fine young woman
to all who know her, a delight
so strong and kind and loving
love for her she does incite


this poem is dedicated to "Angel N. M."
