Before you

I lived day by day
There was nothing to say
Each smile carried no beauty.
Life was scenery outside the window

Then you came along
Showed me beauty in birdsongs
Made me hear peals of distant bells
Made me marvel at the sudden rush of sky

Raindrops made me laugh
Old songs made me cry
Rainbows reminded me
Of wishes, smiles and stolen kisses

I feel that I do belong
Near the heartbeat in your chest
Until a little over forever
Within the circle of your arms.
