Love is Missing

Your smiles light up your eyes
Your eyes twinkle
You laugh so easily
When I say something silly
But there is something missing

Your hands touch my cheeks
In the morning
When you say goodbye
You toot your horn as always
When you drive away

But there is something missing
I know you don’t love me anymore
You no longer kiss me in the night
You no longer hold me tight
And love me like you did before

In-Love is missing
The bonfire is gone
I hope the flickering flame
survives.
