Every High Thing Must Come Down
Every high thing must come down
Fold your wings and touch the ground
Go forth into the earth to see what you can find
Be wary of the dark and don't let it steal your mind
Six feet deep you're laid to rest
Little fallen one you did your best
Your tormentors made your life a living hell
Ripped out your wings and away you fell
You turned to a blade
To escape the nightmares they made
Scarlett stained wrists
Tattered white note clenched in a fist
Sleep now my angel, buried so deep
Dream eternity away while I weep
Sleep soundly in the ground
Where nightmares and monsters cannot be found
Fold your wings and touch the ground
Go forth into the earth to see what you can find
Be wary of the dark and don't let it steal your mind
Six feet deep you're laid to rest
Little fallen one you did your best
Your tormentors made your life a living hell
Ripped out your wings and away you fell
You turned to a blade
To escape the nightmares they made
Scarlett stained wrists
Tattered white note clenched in a fist
Sleep now my angel, buried so deep
Dream eternity away while I weep
Sleep soundly in the ground
Where nightmares and monsters cannot be found
