so many things
to be afraid of today
spiders
heights
water
the number thirteen
but i think perhaps
the cruelest phobia
out there
at least in an
ironic sense
is the fear
of long
words
any other
phobia
if someone asks
what you have you
can tell them
Arachnophobia,
aquaphobia,
Acrophobia,
Triskaidekaphobia,
or Arachibutyrophobia
which is the
Fear of peanut
butter sticking
to the roof
of the mouth
but if you are
afraid of long words
the very name
of your phobia
would put you
in convulsions
and you would be
unable to tell people
what you suffer from
surely they'd think you
are making it up
if you can't even say the
proper name for what you have
yes fear is a terrible
thing.  sometimes
i feel it too.
