Monster
As I sipped on my energy drink
He stared
So I asked "Why?"
He said "Those things cause heart attacks."
So I said "Maybe I'd like to die."
"That's not even funny."
"Cry me a river!"
He gave me a look that could make Hell shiver
He only said he loved me once
And he didn't seem to care
So why did he even stare
We had the same conversation everyday
Til suddenly his harsh look faded away
We no longer spoke
And now I bet he'd laugh like my dying were a joke
So I sip on my energy drink without dismay
And No one cares to bother
I suppose now I'll just peacefully whither away
He stared
So I asked "Why?"
He said "Those things cause heart attacks."
So I said "Maybe I'd like to die."
"That's not even funny."
"Cry me a river!"
He gave me a look that could make Hell shiver
He only said he loved me once
And he didn't seem to care
So why did he even stare
We had the same conversation everyday
Til suddenly his harsh look faded away
We no longer spoke
And now I bet he'd laugh like my dying were a joke
So I sip on my energy drink without dismay
And No one cares to bother
I suppose now I'll just peacefully whither away
