"The Shedding of His Spirit, Breathed New Life into the Earth."
I stood outside in the rain
It felt like the thing to do,
being one who enjoys these
rainy days more than the sun
shining bright in the sky
I stood in His rain; I presented
myself before Him like He said
and petitioned Him, Patiently
waiting because He said if I
called His name, He would be there
I remember the Words that Peter
the Apostle said, "He has shed forth
this that you both see and hear,"
It brought to my mind the shedding-
skin of a snake
He sheds it and underneath regenerates
Even so the work of the Cross was not
the end of an attempt by a God who
failed no, but He willingly went there
just as He planned and layed-down His
Body like the snake shedding its skin
And the Spirit that issued out of Him
has filled the whole earth and Baptized
them into a rebirth
I might not myself believe this unless
I felt His Presence in my own life and
have seen Him with my own eyes
I know that there was a Thomas that He
talked to in the Bible and told, "Blessed
is he who having not seen believes," but
I also think that He knowing each one of
us will help us on a personal level so
that His hand we can hold
In the time of Rome the earth was so far
worn-out and gone, that it could have never
recovered if God hadn't breathed a new-life
into this world
So when He was hanging-up on the Cross and
beginning to take His last breathe he was
heard to say, "It is Finished."
This meant that all things He was sent to
do He accomplished and then into the earth He
breathed His life-giving breathe
He didn't keep it for Himself no, he exhaled
it into the lungs of the earth to resuscitate
men
Then He bowed His head and gave-up the ghost,
not because death claimed him but, to experience
everything that we do, to the utmost
And for three days He lay in the heart of the
earth and even then He was not at rest, because
He then Preached to the spirits bound in Tartarus
to bring Hope to them
And three days later, rose again so that He could
have the superiority over all things that concern
men
1 Corinthians 15:19-22
"If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
