Time and time again
my mind brings up the fact that I used to be happy
my heart remembers how hard it was to breathe
I just can never escape what we used to have
you've probably found other fish in the sea
but they will never take the place in your heart
that I once held dear to me
Its now gone, but I can never say goodbye
too late to go back now

But, time took its tole
and we regretted those 3 words

Be happy for once, for once not be stupid
know what I want out of life
