Freedom

Freedom is but a myth, hidden in lies and deceit
freedom is this countries foundation crumbling under our feet
freedom is a bedtime story to keep us safe at night
freedom is what guides us and judges wrong from right
freedom is a lie inbedded into our thoughts
making us into ignorant apes waiting for the world to rot
freedom is propaganda sold to the masses
waging wars for money and helping the higher classes
when will we awake from this nightmare known as life
the world is in chaos, its people in strife
but what can we do but watch it all burn
the human race is doomed because we never learn
