One Bite at a Time

*entered in dark and twisted competition*

Someone once told me I should spice up my life,
Find a hobby,
turn over a new leaf.

Much to many people's disbelief
I picked up cooking.
shocking I know,
But it really has been therapeutic, Truly.
Trying all my newly prepared recipes has been the most fun,
Cooking the meat till its perfectly done.
Savoring the flavor of a perfectly sautéed dish?
Delicious.

The only real challenge has been finding the prime meat.
Unfortunately so many people on the street
don't realize what they are doing to their bodies.

But here, let me explain,
The plain Jane with mousy brown hair?
Her wimpy arms made for a poor fare.
But Johnny Bravo from two blocks down,
His muscle I found to be a bit tough,
and hard to cook.

Now the hooker off 5th avenue?
The drugs through her body made her taste fishy,
failed dish for sure.

But I think I have it down now,
I've been working on it for about a year,
My own recipe book!
My friends tell me I am the best cook they know,
And that my skills seem to grow
so fast,
Casting a deeply satisfying spell on their bellys.

So stop by for a snack,
I love to cook,
I'll getcha hooked one bite at a time.
