"Not Giving Up," (I'll always Step-up).
There's no turning back now, I've
come to far
I'm not giving-in and folding the
cards
I've driven this same road for miles
and miles now and the sites are all
to familiar so that sometimes they
blend and life seems hard
But I will not bow to defeat, in my
mentality I do not shake hands w/
retreat
When it does come, on my headstone
it will say, "Here lies a man in peace,
who never was beat,"
So run I this race not as one who
does not know, that not every day will
be a bed of roses
Neither do I think that in this fight I'll
never take one to the jaw
But I do know that it's not made of
glass so stand I there defiant saying,
"Come on life, teach me more,"
So I may go down, but it'll only be on
one knee
And if you see me crying, then it'll be
tears of blood that you see
Cause from the sweat of this body, I'll
push and pull
And from the anguish and trouble that
I go thru in this world
I will embrace and gain the mastery
over my soul
