The baker wears white (Or straitbaking)
rolled out flat
under pin of persecution
patted then pushed
to round fitted room
filled with coloured delicacy
draped over in loving cover
nestling crimped edges
as a degree stews in juices
how it ought to be
coagulating in perfect bind
to where one is golden
no struggle no strife
borne again edible
for a bite in life

Very traditional the comparison of bread to life, but Soul this is fresh and wonderful a modern take on an old philosophy. Well done!:-)

What an interesting perspective, Soulman. I love the lines " pin of persecution" and " as a degree stews in juices." You are a hungry poet, indeed, with an appetite for quality. Very nice!
