Bitter Song
I kept the lights off to long
The switch rusted away
But I'm still holding on
To whats soon
To be a bitter end
I've given a lot of thought
to the way a heart can grieve
It breaks and tears until it bleeds
But i won't cry anymore
No not anymore
I hear her voice again
She'll be the death of me
She's always breaking in
Infecting everything
I've given a lot of thought
To the way a heart can grieve
It breaks and tears until it bleeds
No I'm not going to fight for you
Not anymore
Is this what I've become
A never ending bitter song
A story better left untold
Because its already getting old
I've given a lot of thought
To the way a heart can grieve
It breaks and tears until it bleeds
I'm not gonna live in fear
Not anymore
You can build your walls
Try to hide your fear of this
No wall can keep it out
Pain finds a way through all our doubt
Yeah I've given a lot of thought
To what love can do
You can let someone in
Watch the hurt begin
The switch rusted away
But I'm still holding on
To whats soon
To be a bitter end
I've given a lot of thought
to the way a heart can grieve
It breaks and tears until it bleeds
But i won't cry anymore
No not anymore
I hear her voice again
She'll be the death of me
She's always breaking in
Infecting everything
I've given a lot of thought
To the way a heart can grieve
It breaks and tears until it bleeds
No I'm not going to fight for you
Not anymore
Is this what I've become
A never ending bitter song
A story better left untold
Because its already getting old
I've given a lot of thought
To the way a heart can grieve
