Heart & Mind
My mind told me one thing, but my
heart said another.
Now back inside this trap
again, trying to be close to another.
Damn, when will I learn! just yet to
understand.
People will say anything to get up in
your head.
My mind told me one thing but my heart
kept speaking another.
My mind showed me the light of
truth.
But then my heart said, that's doubt within
you.
So I followed the path of what I thought was
right.
But all the time knowing, somehow didn't feel right.
I set myself up, I pulled out the
trap.
An now that I'm stuck, my mind says
'I colud have told you that'!
heart said another.
Now back inside this trap
again, trying to be close to another.
