Supplication of Hope
Gazing into the wonder of darkened sky
Casted hands upward reaching high
Unyielding turmoil never far from here
Mysterious, and wandering star...are you there?
Collapsing upon ground he begins to weep
So precious the illusions spun down deep
Elusive star he begged, illuminate a path forth
Cleared terrain, he trodded on .headed due north
Encompassing shadows amidst this lake of light
He swam the expanse...for sake of gaining might.

makes me think of the song "feather on the Clyde by Passenger-u should check it out! Love this -clever lines with heavy weighted thoughts penned throughout!
