The self-mutilations
the breakdowns

children sleeping
peacefully on the
next floor. Still
nothing about her
living lived life
is whole-hearted
or resolved.

so much in this saga - never ends.
so many questions - was Ted responsible, did he cause all that to happen?
even his lover killed herself afterward (and their baby!)
and recently, Ted's son died, did you know?
a lonely figure...
I guess it will remain unresolved, sadly.

You ask all the right questions. Certainly Ted's affairs were a contributing factor. But I guess we will never know the direct answer to your questions: perhaps they all contributed to her suicide. Thank you for the comments.
