Friendship; In Contrast With A Lover

Uncompromising in this mixture
Separating liquids in a cracked vile
Seeping and seemingly ready to burst

Unleash it's contents
Across a laboratory floor
Swept into the database of
Another failed attempt in fusion

Which of these two constants
Should take a seat on the back burner
Bubbling and cantankerous in raising hands
Voicing naively loud opinions not even called forth
Hence we walk on eggshells when our bellies are vacant

This is a democratic relationship
And a Coup D'Etat is all I ever wanted
Because wrapping these two in barbed wire
Has gone and proved futile while they wiggle out
Laughing in the nervous face of sure fire evisceration
As if it would be an understandible way out of a sticky situation

We are the flies caught in selfish habits
Feeble legs breaking when pushed hard
This is plight in writing and thinking jointly
I don't know at this point what I should do;
Rewrite, recast, of simply cancel this sitcom all together?
