Sole Lament

He misses her,  like the air he breathes
like the soft comfort of cotton fabric  worn
like the sound of lullabyes soothes, and relieves
like a limb from a body,  so sudden and violently torn

He misses her tenderness, sweet words caress
like the ultimate ephiphany of a perpetuitous lifetime
like the sublety of lofty dreams that the angels bless
like the pictures of beauty, evading a fragmented mind

He misses her
in all that she was to him, then  yet to be
like how they envisioned quiet moments,
lost in one another
like when the laughter shared
hurt so good it made them drunk with silliness
like a child having felt love but nothing like this....
he's missing her, cant avoid the 'emptiness utter'
he's missing  her like half a soul without the other....
