You child
you small, feeble child
cornered by your insecurity
drowning in your desire for something more
I won't let you hide it
you ignorant fool
your judgments;
so short lived, evanescent
set on the hope of satisfaction
that this next thought might bring you
the acceptance you crave
expectations set so high
stop, child
for you must know
beauty looks up to you
be assured
be cheerful, for you lead a blessed being
fight for your right
to know that you're perfect
you know you are
speak it into existence
find fulfillment
in your own words of encouragement
and be blissful.
