Oh, Dreamland
The darkness fills the air outside my window
As I lay my head to rest on thine pillow
The foot of the bed, lest lost to the lands
My bed sheets draping me for lost hands
While I slumber and the Luna glows from the sky
Many shadows cast on thee mesmerized where I lie
While unknown pictures invade into my conscience
Of the windswept fields of metropolis behind eyelids
Holding out a hand to the sun where a waterfall flows
Wrapping itself around my soul and transforming the snow
Which float to the heavens as I walk on the flowers of tomorrow
Not a single harmed by my step lest the gentle little bit of sorrow
Eyes blinking to the colors of the lost hues of the gentle
The trees shifting with the wind and give me sentiment
Locks of her hair flow like a beautiful river
She floats to heaven taking but the sun with her
As a deer emerges from the woods yonder
Antlers to the sky as its life is but a saunter
I open the door to a small cabin with less a care
A room filled with mirrors in all directions I just stare
They shatter and I never can see myself again
I float through the ceiling ascending to heaven
Gasping into life awakening covered in sweat
The morning dew settling from the night’s rain
Forgetfulness of the nights adventure once again
Return to me oh dream land, for I wish to explore
Give me the key to unlock your forgotten door
