Thunderstorms
You strike the earth, spreading like wildfire
A blinding light, that never tires
And you stop in front of me
Immediately I feel your presence
And I'm lost, soaring through your thunderstorm
Feeling relaxed as rain falls over my ever inch
As lightning strikes behind me
Raising the hair on my body
I touch your face for a brief second
And get shocked away, burned by your power
I want nothing more than to hold you
But I can't, we're separate beings
Light and darkness, power and weakness
I tell her these things belong together ...

I could stare into your eyes forever
Be lost in them for eternity
I want to know every corner of your existence
I want to hold you in my arms
And never let you go
I want to rise every morning
And see a smile on your face
Like two flowers sitting on a cliff
We needn't go anywhere else
Just sit and watch
while the world around us continues
Never let me go
And I'll love you forever
I'll write your name on every door step
So people will see your name
When they feel down and look down
And smile
Because you are the most beautiful...
Be lost in them for eternity

Hold Me
When she pulled the trigger
I saw it, a flash of light
Two tone like heaven and hell
Go figure, I swore I'd never tell
Tell her that I was sorry
For everything...
That all I wanted to do
Was hear her sing
Like her mother did
Before I accidentally killed her...
Sent her to heaven, I'll never see her
For I belong in hell, no story to tell
Just a hired gun gun who stands here crying
As his daughter is about to kill a man
Raised her just like me, the best I can
What a fucking idiot I am
To take this little girls life away

You Are My Moon, My Night Sky

I sat in my room
Listening to sad music
And staring at the moon
It felt like a lifetime
Before I finally stopped crying
It was in that moment I put my hand
Up to the window pane
Connecting our pain
And drew your face in the stars
Wondering just how far
My own inner war, could reach
Wondering just how hard
A heart can break
Can it shatter everything else with it?
Does my pain even matter
Can it shatter this glass
And send me to a distant land
I must...

Chemically Balanced
I fear I'll never shake you from my mind
I fear I don't want to
I fear you have become so deep rooted
Into my heart, there is nothing I can do
I fight with myself over these feelings
Ask myself why after two years I can't shake them
Why I want nothing more than to speak with you
All the time, but I'm too afraid to say
Why when I felt the strongest feelings for you
I put your love life and happiness above my selfish needs
Stabbed knives through my own heart when I told you
To keep trying and don't give up

Love Letter of a Broken Mind.
The space around you has become completely blurred. So much so that you can't make anything out anymore. You can't tell right from wrong. I should know, I mean, I know you the best. You're lost...lost in a world that's slowly destroying you. I'm afraid you'll hurt someone. Like I did. Like I just did.. I don't want you to to do anything stupid. To hurt someone you love. To hurt someone who is innocent. Like she was; she was so beautiful. I loved her more than anything. More than existence itself. She loved me too at one point, I know she did. Your Eyes
I can't explain it
I've never seen eyes as beautiful as yours
Eyes that made me want to forget everything else
That made me want to get up in the morning
Just to look at them
Eyes that made me do crazy things
That made me want to look into them
For the rest of my life
To ask you one day

Conversations With The Mind: Feelings
Don't apologize for your feelings
You can hurt, You can cry
Why do I feel like this?
Why am I sad, when nothing is wrong
Why do I feel like I have no right
To still occasoinally hurt
Over a girl I knew forever ago
To miss a dead relative
To miss something I never had
How can you lose something you don't own
Sadness just exists, feelings aren't real
And yet they are more real than you can imagine
And they give you reason to live
And reason to take in greed
They rules your world like a bipolar king
Searching for his queen...
Down...

The Power Within Your Mind
This lost dark feeling of sin
Like being dropped in a vast ocean
Everything splashes around me
I float down, unable to see
The place I want to be
Is this gods will or a test?
Because if it is
I'll try harder than the rest
With an earth shattering roar
I disperse the water
Able to see the shore
Claw my way through the mud
And pick myself up from the rough
I control my life
No matter how much stress
No matter how much pain
The aura around me repels it all
Blowing winds from my soul
Widening...

Just when I think she's gone
Just when it feels normal
Something comes along
And reminds me of her
Reminds me that she's something special
That she's beautiful and smart
That when I try to talk to her
I say the stupidest things

The Life of a Dragonfly
We scramble from bars to clubs
Looking for that one person
So we can feel accomplished
Even if we are out with friends
Its always in the back of our minds
We want someone to never see again
Someone to feel our pain
Sadness is the worst drug
Making you do things you normally wouldn't
Corrupting your soul, to make you desperate
Clawing its mark across your back
So we can brag that we sweat that night
Instead of just dying, instead of peace
We create a torment for ourselves
Dull our senses under lights
And pray she says the first words...
Looking for that one person

Nightmarescapes
I tripped, fell into the mud
Tears streaming from my face
What was I running from?
What could scare me so bad?
That my lungs might explode
But I couldn't scream
As I looked down into the puddle
My reflection without a face
As it broke away and I entered a house
Men women and children
Hanging from the ceilings upside down
Their faces mutilated
Their insides hanging out from them
I want to scream, I want to die
I have never felt true horror
Until I realize after they let out moans
They're still alive....
And I turn and run,...
