Moths
We are but moths
fated to die
drawn to life's flame
Some do not rise
dead before their time
Others burn early
choosing the fast path
the "dead legacy"
all that's left behind
Still others wither
dying slowly
like fading embers
Death our one true
victory over time

Reminds me so much of C.J Langenhoven's "Die mot en die kers"; which is probably the best compliment I'd be able to give.
Enjoyed the write.

A very interesting and indeed creative concept on life and ourselves, I find it quite true. In so little words, I must say, the impact of this piece is phenomenal. Thanks for sharing, very much enjoyed :)~

This is really inspiring to read! It makes me
realise and I'm sure it will make a lot more
of us out there as well see that we must
make the most of our life and fill it with as
much goodness we can muster up in what
ever type of form that may be! Great scribe!
