Keeping It All Inside
Hide the sadness.
Fake the happiness.
That's how it goes.
Don't let the pain show.
I will no longer be weak.
My feelings shall not peak.
They will stay hidden.
Showing them is forbidden.
I don't want to say anything anymore.
It feels more like a chore.
Letting everything out.
Just releases more doubt.
I'm just going to continue forcing laughter.
Not really knowing what I'm after.
Please save me from this broken heart.

Very emotional, and can understand
these words. It's like letting everything
out releases doubt...to me it says
that if I confront, am I overreacting,
being silly. I have learned that if
something emotionally stirs me, just to
go with it, and it's never go holding
things in...like the Enigma song: don't
be afraid to be weak or too proud to be
strong.

Gabriel, your comments always make my day. xD I'm truly glad that you read my poetry and comment on them. I agree with your point of view. I actually do show how I feel... A little bit too much. And, people sometimes don't listen. And, that's what happened behind this poem. Glad you enjoyed it. c:
