Please. Remove my Mask.
You know what I've told you;
You've seen what I've shown you.
Yet you have the guts to say:
You know me? Please, try another day.
I'm not so happy that I'd smile;
I'm not so pure to not be vile.
Yet you still linger and say:
You know me? Please, try another day.
I'm sick inside with loneliness;
I sit inside with a fatal illness.
Yet you scream and say:
You know me? Please, try another day.
I stay stuck in paralysis;
I stay stuck as my life's antagonist.
You say I'm the good guy, and say:
You know me? Please, try another day.
I forget the date, and even that I care;
I forget the reality in my nightmare.
You say I'm happy, and say:
You know me? Please, try another day.
I suffer inside my memories;
I suffer on my journeys.
You think you have the right to say:
You know me? Please, try another day.
You see a smile but not the blade;
You see nothing but my charade.
You tell me what you think and say:
You know me? Please, try another day.
I'm not who you'd like to believe;
I'm just the scars under my sleeve.
I'm dying to one day say:
You know me? Please try again, maybe today?
