CARPE NOCTUM      

             
i am              
simply a life            
that lives              
and endures              
a mind              
that plays              
and explores              
a being              
of sufferings          
and joys              
consumed by              
fears          
bliss          
sorrows          
and beauty              
a spirit              
that touches              
and feels              
one that              
will always              
choose adventure              
over any              
sense of              
duty              
a heart              
that sinks              
and soars              
yet which              
always yearns              
for more              
a soul              
that knows              
an ineffable love              
transcendent          
beyond             
all creation              
yet a soul              
in this              
temporal lifes              
present incarnation              
whose entire              
human journey              
this time around              
thus far              
has always felt              
and been              
so perpetually              
lost  lonesome              
and lonely              
due mostly to              
my so seldom              
ever finding              
so few other              
kindred              
human beings              
resonant minds              
hearts  souls              
or spirits          
i could ever              
sufficiently relate to              
or acquire              
as either true              
lasting friends              
or more intimate              
personal relationships              
much less              
anyone              
to even              
share              
lifes simple pleasures              
beauty  wonders              
struggles  hardships              
laughter  suffering    
fears  tears    
wonder          
and joys with              
other than              
my own              
all by myself              
alone              
which here now       
at this              
later point              
of and in    
my lifes              
long  strange    
mysterious journey    
ive come close          
to feeling    
and thinking  
here lately  
at times  
about              
actually deciding             
to even              
give up              
on hope              
and simply accepting              
the sum total    
fact         
of all this                       
as only    
the predestined fate    
perhaps            
of whatever            
necessary             
experiential              
life lessons              
my eternal soul    
may have    
willingly chosen    
to return here for    
when it intentionally    
came here              
to sow  reap    
suffer  enjoy         
to learn    
know  grow    
and hopefully    
further    
evolve from    
here along    
throughout    
my present    
temporal lifetime s  
consciously awakened    
open hearted    
journey s way    
this unfathomably    
countless time        
around    
earths sweet    
vast  great  
illusory    
karmic school yard    
where even  
here now    
it seems    
without    
a doubt    
i clearly am  
already  
intractably  
stuck  
neck deep  
in the middle  
of doing  
and living  
this my  
present  
lifetime s  
ongoing  
temporal  
recyclic  
journey  
all over again  
along with  
no telling  
however many  
more  
potentially  
countless  
other  
new  unknown  
future  
lifetime s  
journeys  
may  
or may not  
still yet  
come
