The quietest moment
Feels like the whole world is asleep
Everything feels at peace
Contemplating life
Only distraction is the faint breathing
My lover lying by my side
Sharing my innermost feelings
With a higher being
Guide and protector
Soothes my soul

The pressure of life is lifted
A sudden movement
Gentle sigh
I turn and watch him sleep
My beautiful Nubian king
