A Knife for a Knife
I challenged myself to write a story poem in fifty words or less
I teaches one to be consice and, although I could have expanded this ad infinitum, I found it difficult to get it done with so few words but a very rewarding experience it was. Have a go yourself! :-)
Had over yer wallet Paki git
Or your fuckin’ throat I’ll slit
Ah you’ve recovered
Since I used my knife
Well enough to threaten life
You takin’ the piss or what?
Give, quick, the fuckin’ lot!
Taking the piss? Certainly not
I was your surgeon John
When you were shot
(50 words)

Lmao @ this ink! What a story! :)
Oh this must have been challenging for you, blocat, because your pen is longwinded! lol....
But you are remarkably incredible because this ink is cleverly done. MUAH! Xoxo

Well thank you Rain,
Yes, I am a long-winded old git that's why I did the exercise. I once won a local competition for the same feat. However I'm rambling on....;-)

Love this story, Blocat, and you told it exceptionally well with so few words. It's all there - backstory, current situation, and the "ah-hah" moment. Fantastic!

Very well done, mate! Right now, there's a competition by miki to write down 50 words. I would like you to submit your entry, if you please, just for fun! (I already submitted mine)

Sweet write! Reminds me of Hemmingway's Challenge, to write a story in 6 words. His was "For sale: Baby shoes. Never worn."
The last part of this, wraps up countless unsaid words. Opens doors. Fine write Comrade!

Thank you comrade your kind words flatter me greatly. That Hemmingway bloke sure could hang a few words together when he put his mind to it ;-)
