He stands proud and dignified
Admired and adored
She watches from a distance
They queue at the door
The ladies in waiting
At the court of a king
Like Catherine Howard
And Ann Boleyn
''We know what happened
To them'' he said
''The flirty girls
Both lost their heads
Twas the first lady
Who lived the longest
She behaved with dignity
She was the strongest''

Having submitted poem about Anne Boleyn, after watching documentary on her downfall that was on tv the same day you wrote this. Great minds watch it seems as well as think alike!
