Going through a separation  separation is not going through me

This damn frying pan just looks too large now
The shampoo has never lasted this long
Is this peace or just silence
She took the kids and all of the problems
I came home and she was gone
She said you can't change people
But they did change me
Hit too many times with my moral compass
Turn the other cheek too many times
Told she will grow out of it
New Year's Eve the phone rang
" Your 17-year-old daughter is in a state away
freaking out on acid and foaming at the mouth
Come pick her up her friends have abandoned her"
Mother deceives father then daughter deceives mother
Any doubt I am an outsider in my own house
has been murdered  before me
As she tries to justify it
all I hear is
I went to life's garden and picked some whoopsie daisy
So not for two months did we speak
Why talk when no one is listening
why voice any thought my head
Made to feel like a third wheel
silent as silent as dead
As we are now separated
I am bringing myself together
Looking like a porcupine
With all the knives in my back
God I love this woman but she talks as if she is the victim
Can you mend the camels back
Not with her daughter to manipulate a mother against father
10 Honey doesn't she seem a little overly selfish
12 honey do you like the friends she's hanging out with
14 honey she wants a Lotta lamp and a Blacklight
16 honey the drug tests are getting expensive
18 honey I'm missing some money from my wallet
20 honey let's go pick her up at the morgue
Looks like she never had a chance to grow out of it
