The void
Science teaches us that nature abhors a vacuum.
MY nature ADORES this vacuum because amid the angst of missing her, every breath reminds me of her scent.
The silence reminds me of her voice.
The cold reminds me of her warm embrace.
Darkness brings her smile,
And my empty calloused hands can still feel her touch.
She is my everything and my nothingness brings her back to me.
Like a shadow cast on the wall, I see her perfect silhouette.
Into that void I pour my memories and my heart and cast her likeness for me to hold.
God I miss her.
