World of Wonders

God of glory, God of love,      
Your light fills the skies above.        
Lord of land and Lord of sea,      
All that breathes cries out "Holy!"      
       
You shouted for the light to glow,      
Your voice made the Heavens bow.        
Through Your word all things were made;      
The dark and light, sun and shade.        
       
You blew out the wind and sky,      
You formed the clouds with Your cry.        
You set twinkling stars above,      
Wove the Heavens with your love.      
       
You spoke a word and Land lept;      
Rising forth from Ocean's depths.      
Your tongue formed its crags and spires,      
Valleys deep and mountains higher.        
       
The flora bloomed at Your command;      
Perfect rose and redwood grand.        
Rich in life, each tree and vine,    
Blossoming from Your rich design.        
       
You cried "Life!" and Ocean splashed,      
Coral gleamed and small fish flashed.        
Sharks and salmon, in the deep,      
From the waves the dolphins leap.      
       
You shouted and the lion roared,      
You cried out and the eagle soared.        
With a word the horses ran,      
Dancing, flying o'er the land.        
       
You filled the Earth with Your light,      
Full of glory and delight.        
And so I thank you, God above,      
For the wonders of your love.
