Who Are You...Really?
Do you know who you are?
How you are defined? By others? By yourself? Are they the same?
Why is that we can never seem to be just one person? We are at least 2 different people, most are 3. Who we are with our friends. Who we are with our family. And who we are by ourselves.
So who are we really?
Are you really the person with a lot of others-or just a few of your closest friends? Is the real you the one your grandmother spoils, your father punishes, your siblings admire? Are you the one that sits alone in your room blasting music and contemplating what you've done with your life?
Are you insane with your friends, quiet with the family, and completely lost on your own?
How about awkward around peers, outspoken with your family, and head stong and determined on your own?
Thinking about this question gives me pause and wonder...Who am I?
I don't think I know the real answer to this question.
Who are you, really? I don't know...
Do you?
