The Perfect Mask
You could read me
Know when I would cry
When I would smile
And actually mean it
Whatever my mood
You knew
But now my mask has been perfected
You no longer see my tears
Only my plastic smile
You don’t know how cold
My heart truly is
You cannot notice
That the warmth in my eyes
Has left
I wear this mask
And now I can fool
Even you
Know when I would cry
When I would smile
And actually mean it
Whatever my mood
You knew
But now my mask has been perfected
You no longer see my tears
Only my plastic smile
You don’t know how cold
My heart truly is
You cannot notice
That the warmth in my eyes
Has left
I wear this mask
And now I can fool
Even you
