Dear GOD,
Dear GOD,
Hello
I'm glad that you could fit me in your schedule
For everything you've done & you do, Sir, I thank you
Or Ma'am, I don't remember if you have a gender
If I'm lost...I hope you labeled me "Return To Sender"
So I can be enveloped in your splendor
Oh Holy mentor, oh merciful giver
I know you're near, so it must be me that's far away
Frozen in fear, trapped in the enemy's snare
Now I'm blinded by the light of your benevolent grace
I AM here! and you shared
Your loving embrace
I'm so nervous!
Hoping this won't be my only moment
Hoping you can read my heart
In spite of missing Sunday service
I still worship
The One True, Glorious You!
I'm like a child anxious to ask Why? When? How? & Who?
I know the What?
It's simple enough
You do what you do
You made us, the earth & the sun & the moon
You set the stars on high
Just to kiss the sky
You even let us keep existing
After the moment we die
I'm eternally grateful that I have not been forgotten
For you so loved me, you gave your only begotten
You make fresh, the rotten
Even though you don't owe us nothing
If we believe, we go from sin to salvation promise
Thank you GOD!...And I plan to talk to you much more often
