The Devil and His Goddess

She had a heart that needed to be healed
He was looking for a soul to steal
The moment they locked eyes
She was mesmerized
Longing to be at his side, all the time
Well the Devil fell in love
With a goddess from above
Though unexpected, he felt happy
And he couldn't help but smile
When she said "You have me"
They still wouldn't let go
When their worlds' told them no
Together's where they should be
Against all the odds
She stole Satan's heart
Now he'll let nothing, keep them apart
"My heart belongs to you"
Satan said softly
She replied with a smile, whispered
"I'm yours if you want me"
Now their love glows
Like a flame glowing bright
She said when he departed
"I'll dream of you tonight"
