My Wife
Such a beautiful smile
it makes everything seem so worth while
the way her hair sways when she walks
or the way her voice sounds when she talks
She leaves me wondering why,
why I strive to make her mine
yet I cant even look her in the eyes
or speak to her without being shy
The words are there but the breath is not
How shall I go about telling her
that she should be mine
that I would love her
and care for her like none before
She is amazing in every way
It frustrates me to know that
she is so perfect and I am worthless in her eyes
How shall I go about telling her
that she is what I have been looking for
That I am latent in her eyes
almost like I am wearing a disguise
yet when she looks at me I shine bright like a star in the sky
But who am I in her eyes
it makes everything seem so worth while
the way her hair sways when she walks
or the way her voice sounds when she talks
She leaves me wondering why,
why I strive to make her mine
yet I cant even look her in the eyes
or speak to her without being shy
The words are there but the breath is not
How shall I go about telling her
that she should be mine
that I would love her
and care for her like none before
She is amazing in every way
It frustrates me to know that
she is so perfect and I am worthless in her eyes
How shall I go about telling her
that she is what I have been looking for
That I am latent in her eyes
almost like I am wearing a disguise
yet when she looks at me I shine bright like a star in the sky
But who am I in her eyes
