Currently I got no currency,
I got power; watch the current; see,
In the ocean, that’s the current sea,
It’s in the air too, always occurring, b.
Now check the last lap I just ran,
Lyrically running circles, or doing the, running man,
Exercise, or exercise your right,
To exercise your mind,
Expedite the rhyme,
Expect great things from the next verse,
Don’t knock the net worth,
Just assume what I got’s more of a blessing than a curse,
Feel the bass shake on the reverb,
The whole house knocking, neighbor’s like “we heard”
So hear this. The whole world is jacked,
You only get one go, but the cards are stacked,
The house always wins, so they’re taking it back,
Life always ends, there’s no stopping that.
So I’m just patiently waiting for my time to end,
Passing time with some smoke, some drank, and some friends,
Cause when the bell tolls, and death’s shadowy figure
appears,
The only thing that really matters is if you conquered your
fears.
So I live life fearless,
Peerless.
Not trying to live unseen, disappear-less.
But I’m not being obscene, that’s feel-less.
Oops, my bad, I’m making words up,
But I’m not the dictionary so I don’t give a.
Fun times ahead,
Optimism is that ism that keeps a man fed,
Oh, wait, it doesn’t work like that does it?
The mind set of a man, does nothing come from it?
You got good intentions, what of it?
You say that you’re my friend, that won’t cut it.
See, friendly people carry the biggest knives,
Stab you in the back, move on with their lives,
I call it church face, and it’s nothing but lies,
Their mouth smiles, but there’s hate in their eyes,
So shut your mouth and your eyes too,
I realize that the blind may astound you,
But before you walk a mile ‘round in my shoes,
Gotta see if you can feel what I’m in to.
It’s like I’m the only one who sees it like it is,
Who sees Hollywood
and shit corrupting our kids,
Who sees talentless people getting hit after hit,
I’m turning the radio off, and taking hit after hit,
Oh.
Now I don’t condone the use of drugs,
But plants, man, they came from a god up above,
And if you doubt that god’s existence,
They’ve grown from the ground since man’s been living.
Besides, a choice is a choice,
And everybody knows that a voice is a voice,
And in the democratic world, that voice makes a difference,
Or so they say, but I don’t see that in this instance.
And now the smoke is rising,
And everybody around me is realizing,
That a song without a chorus speaks volumes,
A song without a hook doesn’t involve you,
Like a man without a faith can’t absolve you,
We’re all standing on the same earth, let it revolve you.
If you’re a problem, then I’ll just have to resolve you.
Oh, but that’s all I’ve got for now,
People say my generation is damned, and how,
Now that saying’s a throw back, but we can’t go back,
So let’s keep moving forward,
Fix the world’s problems? Now that’s a tall order.
Order up, man. Order up, they need it in a hurry, hurry up.
Set the table right, you got drinks on me,
The best things in life, don’t always come cheap.
I got power; watch the current; see,
