People living
But they're already dead
People laugh
But nothing is funny
People shop
With fake plastic money
People hide
But there's nothing to fear
People cry
But don't shed a tear
People go to church
But don't practice what is preached
People set goals
That are impossible to reach
People have problems
And use medication to cope
People continue on
Devoid of any hope.

It's just what I see. It seemed so simple and basically like stating the obvious, I wasn't going to post it, but I liked the rhythm to it, so I did.
