For you Mum

Five months have passed since God took you home
In all of my life, never felt so alone
The day is nearing I find hard to face
I know in my heart your in a good place
I have now to face the whole day alone
No calling you up to say on the phone
Happy Mothers Day Mum, ill be over soon
And arriving to give you a mums day balloon
And taking you out for lunch and then tea
And as big as I am a hug on your knee
To spend the day with my Mum as I do
To give you your presents and say I love you
I hope in the heavens you know I write this
I hope your day is filled with much bliss
Remember Mum ill never forget
You were always the best Mum a daughter could get.
